we ordered our wedding bands last night! exciting! And we decided against wedding band tattoos (as pictured... really never even considered tats, I just liked the Google image). We thought for a while about what to engrave on the inside of our bands and we decided to go with "let's do this!" and the date. We both say it all the time anyway and especially since we've gotten engaged. Let's do this!!!

About Dave and Al

Dave and Al met in Montgomery, Alabama at a mutual friend's home. Dave was visiting town for the weekend and Al was living there at the time running her own embroidery business. There was an instant connection as Dave charmed Al with his natural good humor and Al enchanted Dave with her nice smile, sassy attitude and retro hat. Dave decided to come back to town the following weekend to take Al to dinner, and they were like two peas in a pod.

Lots of time passed, and their relationship grew stronger. Al moved to Birmingham and made a career change. Then soon after, David made a career change.

Then more time passed...

Then even more time..........

And then just a little more....

Five years, five months, and two days... David finally proposed during one of Al and Dave's runs. Completely shocked and starting to hold on to the notion of eternal dating, Al enthusiastically accepted. Now on to wedding planning for a fantastic life together filled with laughs, smiles, sassiness and retro hats!
